Michelin New York

Congratulations to Noksu, La Bastide by Andrea Calstier, and César for achieving their first Michelin stars; to Aquavit, Semma, Noz 17, and Sushi Noz for their continuous Michelin accolades, and to Lungi and Lore for joining the Bib Gourmand family.

Michelin’s 2024 rankings for New York, Chicago, and Washington highlight major shifts, with Jungsik in Tribeca becoming the first Korean restaurant in the U.S. to earn three stars, joining New York’s elite alongside Eleven Madison Park, Le Bernardin, Masa, and Per Se. New two-star recipients include César, Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare under new leadership, and Sushi Sho. Meanwhile, Restaurant Daniel lost a star, dropping to one. New York’s one-star additions include Nōksu, Café Boulud, Corima, and Joo Ok, among others, bringing the city's total starred restaurants to 74. The rankings reflect Michelin’s broader U.S. expansion efforts, though cities like Chicago and Washington saw slight declines in star counts, with notable demotions but also eco-friendly stars awarded for sustainable practices.
