Chez Fifi is, somehow, the place to be.

The Grub Street review describes Chez Fifi as the hottest, hardest-to-book restaurant on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, offering a cozy, mahogany-paneled French bistro experience inside a 1920s townhouse. Opened by the team behind Sushi Noz, Chez Fifi draws a glamorous crowd, from Jon Hamm to Sacha Baron Cohen, and succeeds largely by sticking to French bistro classics like escargots, steak frites, and a truffle-topped omelette. While not every dish dazzles, the inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and lively scene have made it an instant must-visit, signaling a revival of the Lexington Avenue dining scene.
