The famed hotel will feature two restaurants, and the bar and salon called Peacock Alley.
The Waldorf Astoria New York is set to reopen soon after an eight-year restoration, featuring 375 guest rooms, 372 residences, and restored iconic spaces. The hotel will debut two new restaurants—Yoshoku, a Japanese concept on Park Avenue, and Lex Yard, led by renowned chef Michael Anthony, on Lexington Avenue—as well as a bar and social salon called Peacock Alley, where classic cocktails like the Rob Roy are served with flair. The new dining options pay tribute to the hotel’s culinary history with dishes like the Waldorf Salad and a red velvet soufflé tart, while aiming to blend elegance with a welcoming atmosphere for guests as the landmark hotel begins its next chapter.
