A sibling to Noodle Lane, Rulin will also serve Lanzhou, Sichuan, and Cantonese fare.

Rulin, a new sibling to Park Slope’s Noodle Lane from owners Lane Li and Chris Wang, opens January 20 at 15 East 13th Street near Union Square, showcasing hand‑pulled noodles and inventive takes on Lanzhou, Cantonese, and Sichuan cuisine. Drawing on Li’s Cantonese home‑cooking roots, culinary training, and inspirations from Guan Fu and Xi’an Famous Foods, the menu favors multicultural innovation over tradition, with highlights like soy sauce duck canapés on crispy rice, binchotan charcoal‑grilled skewers and rice dishes, a smoked Sichuan razor clam salad, and noodle offerings split between dry and broth versions—including short rib noodles with angelica root and Sichuan peppercorns. Designed by Studio Jari with soft minimalist interiors, Rulin will open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday until 10 p.m., with reservations via Resy.
