In May of 2012, Zachary ‘Schmackary’ Schmahl finally turned his apartment-run cookie company into a brick-and-mortar store in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Overnight, lines formed for Zach’s ‘lip-schmackin’ good cookies.’ Since then, Schmackary’s has been named the unofficial cookie of Broadway, as cookie fanatics include everyone from Audra McDonald to Kristin Chenoweth. Schmackary’s has been featured on Only Murders in the Building and countless other television shows. It now has franchise opportunities available.
