NYC’s most mysterious sushi spot just launched a delivery-only offshoot

Mr. Moto is bringing its story-driven boxes straight to Brooklyn apartments.

The team behind NYC’s highly exclusive, story-driven sushi restaurants, The Office of Mr. Moto and The Residence of Mr. Moto, has launched a new delivery-only offshoot called The Parcels of Mr. Moto. Debuting on February 9, 2026, the service brings high-end edomae sushi—including nigiri sets, chirashi bowls, and DIY rolls—directly to residents in Brooklyn, with a Manhattan expansion planned for the spring. Maintaining the brand's signature "mysterious" lore, each order arrives in bespoke packaging containing a hidden riddle that, once solved, unlocks discounts for the group's physical dining rooms. The initiative aims to make premium sushi more accessible while retaining the craftsmanship and immersive storytelling that chef Tomotsugo “Tomo” Kubo is known for.
