A new destination called Rewind has opened in Long Island City, offering a unique lounge and karaoke experience.

  • Lounge Atmosphere: The space is designed as a 1900s Asian-inspired speakeasy. Guests enter through an elevator decorated with vintage Chinese newspapers.

  • Cocktails: The bar features creative cocktails curated by a renowned bartender, with menu items based on the Chinese zodiac. Each drink is crafted to reflect the five elements and their associated flavors. Examples include the "Violet Hour" (Earth element) and the "Kimchi Harmony" (Wood element).

  • Cuisine: The restaurant offers a fusion menu that blends Japanese izakaya culture, Taiwanese street food, and Chinese market barbecue. A standout dish mentioned is the "jaang bukatini," which puts a unique twist on a traditional black bean sauce pasta by incorporating a carbonara-style preparation.

  • Karaoke: In addition to the lounge, the venue provides nine different karaoke rooms that can be booked separately. These rooms feature an unlimited song selection.
