Identify LA’s Meagan Sargent spotlights the debut of Junior Cookies’ second brick-and-mortar, a cheery bakeshop now serving Santa Monica from 2726 Main Street. Founded in 2017 by the Sevis family (a mother-son-daughter trio), the once home-kitchen project has parlayed its cult online following into a West Hollywood flagship and, now, this beach-side expansion, while keeping production small-batch and family-run. The shop features the brand’s indulgent, filled “cookie cups” and layered bites—think Turkish Pistachio, Crème Brûlée, Nutella, Passionfruit Pavlova—and promises location-exclusive flavors inspired by the neighborhood. A slate of chef collaborations (with talents like Ali Cegniz, Nicole Dayani, Okay Inak, Arturo Avallone and Ben Sidell) plus past charity tie-ins underscore its creative, community-minded ethos. Open daily (10 a.m.–11 p.m., to 11:59 p.m. on weekends), the new store extends the brand’s celebrity-favored, Instagram-primed cookies to the Westside while staying true to its “bake with love, no shortcuts” mantra.
