What you need to know: The sibling of the Tribeca whiskey bar Brandy Library, Copper & Oak stocks over 1000 bottles of spirits specializing in whiskies from all over the world, including the largest selection of Japanese whiskey available in the US (over 75 choices.) Bourbon, Rye, Mezcal, Tequila, Rum, Armagnac, Cognac, and Calvados are all represented on the shelves which climb to the ceiling of the 1000 sq. foot space which holds only 20 people at a time. As the name suggests, the tiny bar is covered in copper and oak from bourbon barrels. The walls are made out of deconstructed bourbon barrels. The bar stools and bar itself are crafted of copper. A last call bell is made of a piece taken off a copper still. Even the knobs in the bathroom sink are caps from an old copper whisky still.
