THE HALL WAY is to look at every client as an individual. Since 1996 when I founded the company with the late Sam Firer, we took an integrated and unorthodox approach to our campaigns. We realized early on that each client had his or her own strengths, and we structured our campaigns around them. It's not about what we've done for others, it's about what we can do for you.
We seek out opportunities; we don't just sit back and wait for the calls, we make the calls. This is how Hall PR became a well-respected global hospitality/travel/lifestyle public relations, branding, and consulting agency with affiliations in Tokyo with Office K2M, and in San Francisco with Andrew Freeman & Co., and that is also why we work closely with other PR professionals in the United States and abroad. We consult with our clients daily, are always a presence in the properties we represent, and give constant constructive feedback.

Hall PR is associated with restaurant & hotel groups, cruise ships and other entities around the world that seek concepts for their clientele. We have been successful in bringing several hospitality clients together for long lasting partnerships.
Steven's experience goes beyond the service industry through strong connections and friendships with influential people in the press, hospitality industry and the tastemakers of this day and age. Steven was part of the burgeoning New York restaurant scene at the time when restaurants such as Union Square Cafe, Gotham Bar & Grill, Arizona 206 and An American Place were defining American cuisine. He enjoys creating exciting atmospheres and gets a great deal of satisfaction in giving a crowd the time of their lives in an environment he has helped conceive.
A full-time position at one of the first agencies that specialized in food and celebrity chefs propelled Steven Hall to go out on his own. Hall PR was born and within a few months the chefs and restaurateurs he'd practically grown up with were full-fledged clients. In 2006 Steven was introduced to the Asian market and the possibilities that awaited him there. He added business development to his long list of services and now works with Japan-based restaurant groups seeking to increase their portfolio of Western concepts; and with Japanese restaurateurs when turning their attention stateside. He facilitated the deal for the San Francisco restaurant A16 opening in Tokyo, and is instrumental in the development of Japanese imports to New York.
Steven is an avid jazz fan and theater-goer. When not in his or other restaurants, he can be found in one of NY's many music clubs, Broadway, Off, and Off-Off Broadway theaters. He is a supporter of the Public Theater, BAM, St. Anne's Warehouse, Lincoln Center, Broadway Cares, City Harvest, CityMeals-on-Wheels, and Share Our Strength.

Lisa Hammer is a respected media specialist with more than a decade of management experience in public relations, marketing, communications, and strategic brand development. Having worked in industries including television, film, publishing, sports, and music, Lisa has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business including Robert Redford, Mike Tyson, Richard Gere, Evander Holyfield, Mira Sorvino, Kevin Bacon, The Who, Paul Simon and George Lucas. With her solid and far-reaching media relationships and unwillingness to take no for an answer, Lisa has developed a reputation for delivering the goods while being pleasant but persistent.
Before joining Hall PR, Lisa worked at Showtime Networks, ABC News and created special events and public relation campaigns for clients including Loews Cineplex, Fandango, Madame Tussauds, Discovery Communications, Time Warner Cable, Showtime, PBS and Viacom. As Hall PR’s General Manager, Lisa enjoys working with some of the most celebrated restaurateurs and chefs in the world. Lisa’s very first jobs were in restaurants; her career has now come full circle by combining her expertise and her passion for both public relations and the hospitality industry. Often referred to as “the mom” of Hall PR, Lisa keeps things moving in the office, overseeing the day-to-day press for all clients, with a special affinity for cultivating feature and broadcast opportunities for the company’s clients.
